Constitution & By-Law Revision
In the Fall of 2025, the church formed a special committee to examine and, if necessary, revise sections of the Constitution & By-Laws of Providence.
The responsibilities of that committee are as follows:
-
Comprehensive Review: Analyze the existing by-laws section-by-section to identify inconsistencies, obsolete language, or necessary updates.
-
Drafting Revisions: Create a new, unified document rather than just patching together amendments.
-
Soliciting Input: Actively seek feedback from members, committees, and church leaders before drafting.
-
Ensuring Compliance: Ensure the revised by-laws align with current legal requirements and the church's mission.
Both versions of the Constitution & By-Laws are available below for your review.
